Wheatly Vanderpuye, CA started his career in the audit sector with a local audit firm call Detris Consult for two years, as an audit intern and rose up gradually to become a trainee and then an assistant. He then furthered his career with Beige Business Solutions Logistics where he held the accountant post for two years bringing sanity in record keeping and financial reporting.
He then moved to Mazars, an international audit firm where he was appointed an audit senior at entry level due to his span of experience in both the accounting and auditing fields. There he moved through all the departments in audit due to his agility (Accountancy, Taxation and External Auditing). Wheatly Vanderpuye, CA finally moved to Nyansa African Business consultancy where he built strong Finance, Tax, Accounting and client management skills through management of international clients in diverse fields of business. Wheatly Vanderpuye, CA after almost 4 years of work with Nyansa Africa, established Van’El Group Limited and is currently the acting Chief Executive Officer, CEO.

Elfreda is an international consultant with 5 years’ experience working as a researcher. She has extensive experience leading teams of multi-disciplinary stakeholders to work in the areas of Data Collection and analysis, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Stakeholder Engagement Planning, Resettlement Planning, Corporate Social Responsibility and Monitoring and Evaluation of projects.
Elfreda has worked with international firms such as GIZ and Translantic Development Limited, where she has risen through the ranks as Research Analyst, Social Consultant and then to Research Lead. She has a strong understanding of the systems in Ghana, Nigeria and Tanzania, where she worked on several projects.
At Van’El Group, she is the Director for Research and Training and contributes to business development, proposal writing, research and training. Elfreda’s vision is to see Van’El recognised globally; for excellent service and as a household name.

Jan Steenkamp is a passionate, hardworking and ambitious person with over 20 years’ working experience. His experience spans across Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa in the areas of business consultancy, construction, manufacturing and project management. Jan studied and trained in South Africa where he started his career as a site manager and fabricator at Snyders Construction Middelburg.
From there he has worked in managerial positions in several companies overseeing manufacturing and site operations, training staff, managing production, quality control, design control and management, strategic planning and project management. His last position was with ILC Lerumo where he worked for 10 years- 3 years as a Construction and Site Manager for Stanbic IBTC Project in Nigeria, 4 years as the Project Manager in Lagos Nigeria on various Construction, Retail Fit Out and Refurbishment Projects and 3 years as the Project Manager in Accra Ghana on various Projects for Fit Out and Refurbishments of office and retail space.
He is the brain behind Van’El manufacturing. Jan is currently the Director of Van’El manufacturing and provides excellent client services. He is dedicated to providing clients with prompt and quality services.

With over 10 years accumulated working experience in auditing and consulting, Emmanuel Adjei’s professional experience can be summarized as per 6 years with Mazars where he was a manager, responsible for a team of 12 professionals in auditing, Management consultancy, tax and general accountancy practice and 4 years as accounts officer at Nowak Limited and Teachiman Area Techers Co-operation Credit Union.
Emmanuel is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana) and has six years post qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant. He holds a Master of Science degree in accounting and finance from the University of Ghana. He is currently in the final level of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (Ghana).
Emmanuel began his career in the financial sector with Techiman Area Teachers Co-operative Credit Union for two years. He became an accounts officer at Nowark Limited in Accra before his qualification as a Chartered Accountant. He then moved to Mazars Ghana an international audit firm where he was appointed an Audit Senior at entry level. He rose up faster above average in the rank to become an Audit Manager. Based on his passion for what he does, he attained a practicing certificate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants to practice as an Auditor.
Emmanuel established BerAd Consult to provide accounting and tax services to companies and SMEs. He is the Managing Partner of Van’El Audit.

Prince Owusu Nketia is a Chartered Accountant with over 6 years’ experience in Accounting and Finance. His experience cuts across Financial Reporting, Auditing, Tax Administration, Financial management and credit management, payroll management, Internal Audit, Bank Management and external audit.
Prince holds HND in Accountancy from the Kumasi Technical University, He currently holds a Master of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Ghana. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a member of the institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).
Prince has worked as an Accountant with Holy Family Hospital credit union. He also worked as an Internal Audit executive of the credit union with 3 years post qualification experience over the years he has contributed to the introduction of strong and resilient internal control systems in the credit union thereby making it one of the best credit unions in the country which have won many local and international awards.
He has worked with Mazars Ghana a firm of chartered accountants and management consultants and has a rich experience in accounting, audit tax and business advisory services. His expertise in audit cuts across several industries like manufacturing, hospitality, banking, mining and agriculture.
